Missions
Nous recherchons un chercheur postdoctoral ayant de l'expérience dans le développement d'instruments spectroscopiques ou dans des domaines connexes pour travailler sur un projet financé par l'ERC. L'objectif est de développer un analyseur compact de gaz à effet de serre basé sur notre technologie de microcavités Fabry-Pérot fibrées. L'instrument sera commercialisé par la startup Mirega SAS récemment fondée, avec pour ambition de redéfinir la surveillance des émissions de gaz à effet de serre, contribuant ainsi à un avenir plus vert et durable.
Le groupe Atom Chips ( du Laboratoire Kastler Brossel (LKB) développe un analyseur de gaz trace miniature de grande précision, en exploitant le potentiel des cavités Fabry-Perot fibrées, initialement développées pour des applications en information quantique. Ce projet est soutenu par un programme ERC Proof-of-Concept de l'Union européenne et par la SATT Lutech, l'office de transfert de technologie de Sorbonne Université. Cela a conduit à la création de Mirega SAS ( en 2023. Nous avons déjà réalisé un premier prototype avec une sensibilité de l'ordre du ppm pour le CO2 avec un volume de détection inférieur à un microlitre. Nous recherchons maintenant un chercheur spécialisé dans le développement de méthodes de spectroscopie moléculaire pour rejoindre notre équipe dynamique et contribuer au développement de notre analyseur de gaz miniaturisé.
Activités
En tant que chercheur postdoctoral, vous apporterez votre expertise en spectroscopie des gaz pour réaliser une analyse quantitative de pointe dans un contexte innovant. Votre rôle impliquera des travaux expérimentaux (tels que des schémas avancés d'asservissement, des systèmes de modulation, la gestion des gaz, et l'analyse de données (méthodes d'ajustement des formes de raies, modélisation du fond, compensation), ainsi que le développement de nouvelles méthodes adaptées à notre système unique d'une microcavité miniature de grande finesse (supérieure à Selon vos compétences et vos intérêts, vous pourrez vous concentrer sur différents aspects tels que le développement matériel/logiciel, les schémas de modulation ou l'analyse avancée des données. Vous ferez partie d'une équipe multidisciplinaire très motivée, travaillant à l'intersection de la recherche académique et de la R&D industrielle, grâce au partenariat entre LKB et Mirega SAS. Les résultats de vos travaux mèneront à la fois à des publications scientifiques et à des brevets protégeant la propriété intellectuelle.
Compétences
Nous recherchons des candidats titulaires d'un doctorat en physique, en chimie ou dans un domaine connexe, idéalement avec une spécialisation dans le développement d'instruments de spectroscopie des gaz. Outre les qualifications spécifiques mentionnées ci-dessus, vous devez avoir de bonnes compétences en programmation, être capable de travailler de manière autonome tout en étant un membre actif de l'équipe, et avoir un bon sens de l'humour.

Vous travaillerez au LKB, un laboratoire de renommée mondiale en physique quantique et en physique atomique, moléculaire et optique. Nos laboratoires sont situés au Département de Physique de l'École Normale Supérieure, un environnement dynamique pour la recherche fondamentale et les startups de haute technologie, situé en plein cœur de Paris.
