Description

Are you prepared to collaborate with a global team on high-performance products?
If so, seize the opportunity to join us as our next junior CMF Designer.
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative junior CMF Designer to join our vibrant team in the Apparel Section. This role will involve assisting the CMF team in creating seasonal color palettes, graphic designs, and material strategies that embody Salomon's brand identity and cater to our diverse customer base.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support Seasonal CMF Strategy: Research and identify emerging trends in color, materials, and finishes for outdoor sports apparel. Contribute to the development of seasonal CMF mood boards and inspiration sources.
- Color Palette Development: Collaborate to refine color palettes aligned with Salomon's brand DNA and appealing to target consumers. Assist in organizing color libraries.
- Graphic Design Assistance: Work with graphic designers to create print and pattern concepts for apparel collections, incorporating seasonal themes and technical requirements. Provide input on graphic placement and scale.
- Material Research: Explore new materials and trims for apparel products, considering performance, sustainability, and aesthetics.

Qualifications:
Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Design, Textiles, Fashion, or a related field
IT: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design software
Languages: Excellent English, good French
Specific skills:
- Strong visual and aesthetic sensibility
- Outdoor sports passion and familiarity with Salomon's brand
- Material and manufacturing process knowledge a plus
- Familiarity with CMF software like CloD, Substance a plus
Additional Information:
Full Time Internship + Mandatory School Internship Agreement
Based in Annecy, FRANCE
Start Date: January for several months
