    Overview and purpose of role:

    You will report to the Logistics Director EMEI based in Paris office, leading the running and development of the stock control management across Northern and Southern Europe for our Retail business. You will deploy the roadmap agreed by top management, lead the projects to achieve your goals (for instance, you will support the change management and omnichannel move operating on the Company). You will follow the logistics budget on your scope. You will also ensure best practice of stock management in boutiques. You will be required to liaise with warehouses, service providers, boutiques and with internal customers (Merchandising & Planning Director EMEI, Retail, ...). You will actively build strong professional relationships with people both internally and external of the business, developing those relationships to facilitate stock control within the business.

    Key Responsibilities of the role:

    · Supervision of a team split between the London and Paris office

    · To build logistics budget for warehouses, update actuals on monthly basis and align with finance team

    · Be the key expert for stock management in Retail network (40+ stores) and 2 local warehouses (90k units in + out) whilst ensuring effective cost control of the Stock Department

    · Is the key point of contact for Retail and Head Office on any BOH stock topic

    · To be responsible for the data accuracy between the different IT systems on the dedicated scope

    · Acts as a team ambassador during any internal or external meetings. Actively builds strong professional relationships with people both internal and external of the business, developing those relationships to facilitate stock control within the business

    · Ensure all Company policies and procedures are adhered to

    · Be responsible of the good implementation of the Company's sustainable strategy within the stock scope

    · Effectively manage all stock related tasks with the help of the stock team:

    Provide support and assist in planning for retail calendar including store openings / events / sales periods

    Provide dashboards and KPIs to communicate about the actions, challenges and results

    To lead meetings with stakeholders (stores, third parties, internal customers), share results and action plans

    Plan and manage the annual stock take process, including travel schedule, stock take calendar and

    prepare stock take report thereafter. Ensure the retail team is aware and clear on the procedures to follow

    Calculate weekly volume to be delivered per product category and per store and share with the

    Merchandising team: review stock levels, optimize storage capacity and alert the business when needed

    To monitor on the weekly basis stock capacities and to be able to anticipate any overstock situation or issues

    To be the owner of stock and human capacity data into the forecasting tool

    · Management:

    The Stock Manager Europe will supervise a team split between London and Paris office

    He/she will ensure relay, animation, and declination of company projects within his/her team

    He/she will be responsible for the motivation of the team developing a consistent, fair, and effective management

    · Project:

    To lead logistics projects at European level linked with the transformation of the Supply Chain and ensure their success (Retail, warehousing, new IT setup, ...)

    To participate to the structural projects of the company: OMS, TMS implementation, ...

    To select service providers for storage of products and preparation of F&F negotiate rates and contracts with them

    To manage benchmark, tender and contract on local warehousing activities

    To be a creative force for improving WMS and work closely with IT team to develop new functionalities

    Continuous improvement approach and settings of optimization enabling to increase agility of organization, to reduce cost, lead time and environmental impact of logistics

    · Effectively manage all stock related tasks in regional DC:

    Actively participate in local warehouses activities: plan and coordinate every operation (stock movement, stock take, preparation for recycling, monitoring samples stock), ensure stock accuracy, create KPIs and monitor Service Level.

    To be responsible for cycle count and fiscal inventory on regional DC

    Implement and ensure best working practices to minimize stock loss. Investigate all stock loss issues

    Take the lead in stock organization and logistics management for the sample sales and end of life of products

    You will work closely with the Buyer and Merchandisers to organize weekly deliveries and stock consolidations across the European Retail business to support trade – maximizing opportunities, minimizing risks and ensuring we meet both our sales and ST targets each season

    Assist and support with ongoing training and operational awareness for relevant DC team members

    Provide dashboards and KPIs to communicate about the actions, challenges, and results

    Take the lead and be responsible for the stock capacities to be able to anticipate any overstock situation or issues

    Preparation of the F&F twice a year

    Ensure health, security (appropriate certification and/or measures in place at warehouses) and safety guidelines are followed and maintained for all key areas

    · Lead the training and development of all BOH members of the team in the retail network:

    Motivate staff to achieve the highest possible standards in the stockroom and commit to promoting best practice within the company

    New store openings training plans need to be put in place in conjunction with the Stock Manager Europe

    Continually review tools for BOH, reporting back into the business on needs

    Ensuring continual reviews are carried out with all stock controllers reporting back to key stakeholders on areas of concerns and action plans

    On a bi-annual basis work in conjunction with the Store Managers and Head of Retail to evaluate BOH performances ready for the review period. Delivering feedback, examples and/or input on BOH objectives

    Skills and Requirements:

    In order to deliver the main responsibilities of the role, you will need the following skills:

    · Strong experience in this field - previous role as implant on logistics warehouse is appreciated

    · Good understanding of stock methodology

    · Good knowledge of sustainability topics and action plan into logistics environment

    · High degree of autonomy

    · Strong communication skills

    · Strong IT and Analytical skills

    · Excellent attention to detail

    · Able to show commercial aptitude

    · Ability to work in fast paced environment and remotely

    · Adherence to company policy – strong sense of corporate responsibility and ability to set a high standard

    · Language: French and English fluent

    · Management skill

    Technical:

    · Excellent computer skills: CEGID Y2, INFOR M3, ERP, WMS

    · Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite: Excel is a must

    · Database Management: Business intelligence analysis

    · Reporting and administration skills – reporting to management accurately and within deadlines
