    Job Title

    Expert Technical Project Manager (Security)

    Summary

    The goal of this mission is to manage the SDL (Secure Development Lifecycle) project.
    This transversal and high priority project is part of CISO Application Security scope. It consists in Building and Deploying "Security by Design" within the entire Amadeus Engineering Community (EC).

    • SDL mission:

  • Ensure that Security is addressed systematically through-out the product development lifecycle, with formal checklists, deliverables, and checkpoints at key steps.
  • Allow to build software in a way it is protected by design and by default against cyber-attacks, by introducing security aspect in the development cycle
  • Define and deploy the SDL methodology which is currently composed of 14 touchpoints.

    • Your role as SDL project Manager (Global Grading GG 11-12):

  • Lead the SDL Deployment cross the Amadeus Engineering Community (EC), by applying strong project management approach (planning, monitoring/measuring progress and deviation, managing risks and changes, reporting, ensuring decision making, ..)
  • Align the SDL build deliveries with the deployment strategy
  • Closely collaborate with project sponsor (CISO Application Security responsible - CPS-ES2-SEC) and the SDL Senior Manager (CPS-ES2-SEC-SDL)
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, from experts to top management, through the EC
  • Interact with SAFe trains and roles: RTE, PO, LPM, Business Owners, Architects
  • Interact with Security players: Domain Security Offices (Application and Infra), Security managers, CISO head, whitehats
  • Maximize adoption and Interact with all EC unit teams, managers and directors
  • Lead, monitor, report the SDL deployment progress (scores) for all applications/tools in all EC units
  • Define the yearly targets and strategy
  • Ensure that the Vulnerability backlog is monitored as per defined SLAs
  • Share status and ensure/facilitate decision making in top management forums: Steering Committee, EXD (Engineering Cross Divisions) forum, dedicated follow-up with CISO head and directors.

    • Very interesting challenges arise as we need to take SDL to its next level of maturity, improving dashboards and security scores for management, securing the CI/CD toolchain, measuring the level of security risk, and working across the organizations to actively reduce it.

    This is clearly an excellent opportunity to maximize your knowledge on Security, Amadeus Dev environment / organizations / tools, and expand your communication / presentation / relationship skills.

    Key accountabilities:

    Project Management expertise:

  • Master all project management processes and apply the appropriate ones
  • Planning: Scope, Cost, Schedule, Quality, Risks;
  • Execution and Monitoring: define and monitor dashboards/KPIs/scores, manage Risks, drive decisions, manage Core Team and appropriate large forums, ensure Communication, provide regular Reporting.

    Agile approach:

  • Be able to adapt and work with teams/organization using Agile methodologies
  • Interact with SAFe trains, working with SAFe roles (RTE, PO, Architects, Scrum master, PM,..) and play (transversal) EPIC Owner role when needed

  • Strong communication, leadership, presentation, influencing skills

    Technical skills:

  • Knowledge on Security, Vulnerability, Amadeus IT (products / applications / tools / development process and environment), CI/CD concept
