- Improves design thanks to CAD (Computer Assisted Design) simulations and emulations
- Oversees prototypes manufacturing
- Carries out integration of sub-systems, qualification and validation of hardware design
- Oversees certifications of products
- Oversees mass production manufacturing (industrialization)
- Writes technical guidance
- Carries out technological watch
- Participates to quotation for customers
- Coordinates with stakeholders to solve design and development issues '
- Owns responsibility of the design and the development of equipment, processes and sub-systems,
- Determines feasibility from technical and economic perspectives
- Coordinates and consults with research engineers or scientists and customer representatives to resolve design problems
- Develops, maintains and capitalizes technical procedures, documentation and modules
- Contributes to the planning and execution of projects
