Context:
Axens Project Operations Business Division (POP) mission is to provide advanced technologies for fired heaters, modular units and proprietary equipments including basic engineering design, detailed Engineering, Procurement and Fabrication/Construction, start-up and commissioning and technical services to its customers.
We propose that you join us through an apprenticeship/internship within POP Project Services Department with the potential hiring upon completion.
In this Department we work on project execution of fired heaters, modular units and proprietary equipment packages for our customers but also be part on new technologies development.
Missions :
You will be part of our operational teams, hence receiving the guidance of highly skilled engineers and technicians, as you discover and gain in-depth insights into Axens project execution.
You will participate in unit quality fabrication follow-up around the world, for refining, petrochemical or new technologies fields.
This will be achieved through:
•issuance of project Quality Control (QC) specifications based on Axens standard and client contractual requirements,
•review the suppliers Quality documentation and clarify technical points,
•assign local inspectors for critical fabrication/test steps and release the materials based on their reports,
You may also have opportunities to lead various client & supplier meetings.
During your apprenticeship as Quality Control coordinator, you will be able to grow, with progressively increased project & technical responsibilities, with potentially inspection of some Axens equipments/packages.
Profile :
You are an engineer with general engineering education with a particular interest on metallurgy and welding, you are curious, open-minded and you are seeking to work in an international environment.
You are motivated by the refining, petrochemical and renewables sectors and you are keen on the energy-sector changes set to occur in the coming years.
Proactive, autonomous, rigorous and interpersonal skills. Curiosity and ability to understand the big picture between client and supplier.
Fluent in English.
