    IT Leader France & Belgium – Location Paris, France

    • Based in our Paris office you will be an experienced Technology Leader to oversee accountability for the delivery of the France portfolio change and improvement initiatives, impacting the delivery of service across teams
    • You will be part of Regional IT team of more than 100 colleagues
    • During your first 3 to 9 months you will be coached and trained by your peers and management on all processes with an opportunity to implement new technology and take ownership of large programs
    • Manage direct reports in the delivery and execution of the practices at a country level, own the detailed roadmap for the operating model for the function and drive change in support of these objectives
    • Participate in the leadership of cross-functional initiatives or projects at country and regional level, including the Global Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
    • Manage the team in the execution of the programs, ensuring that detailed country project plans, objectives, milestones, risks and issues logs and financial impact reporting are in place
    • Oversees the successful execution of programs through resources allocated to the initiatives from within the teams or practice, ensuring that the ultimate deliverables and objectives of the programme are met against targets set by the Regional Head
    • Manage country budgets and expenditure management for IT cost centres, participating in the communication of financial results and cost drivers with key stakeholders within leadership and the business
    • Provide oversight on resource planning and usage, acting as country representative for the IT Department
    • Partner with senior individuals within the business and operating company IT functions, on items relating to business management, overseeing a framework to support engagement with key stakeholders globally and promote services with stakeholders
    • Controls the function, including line management responsibilities for existing IT team, assign day to day tasks and oversees the activities of the function, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to provide required delivery and meet agreed targets
    • Lead the department with the successful delivery of the global Operational Controls framework, overseeing virtual teams which operate across locations globally to delivery specific aspects of the operating model, driving consistency and creating economies of scale
    • Apply regional strategies, ensuring targets are in place, that the teams are properly resourced and all deliverables and KPIs are met
    • Proactively engage with key partners and stakeholders within HR, Finance and similar functions within the operating companies to ensure effective collaboration, whilst mentoring and coaching, managing staff within the defined framework
    • Extensive experience in IT leading roles, knowledge of insurance technology will represent a plus
    • Strong knowledge of risk management and operational controls for regulated environment
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills gained in C-Suite facing roles a must
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver leveraging a large team with on/off/near shore components, as well as building effective relationships with peers in a complex matrix environment
    • Proven ability to collaborate, give clarity, effectively influence aligning the business and technology successfully
