    THE FIRM
    One of the top Infrastructure PE funds in Paris, investing across the value-add core/core plus infrastructure & Energy sectors. They primarily focus on communications, transport and logistics, healthcare/education, energy, and water & waste sectors across Europe. The strategy seeks control equity investments and invest primarily in operating companies which possess classical infrastructure characteristics. They take a highly operational and value-creation approach in the post-acquisition phase.

    THE ROLE

    The role represents an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team with a long history of executing successful investments in a variety of industries and geographies with deep financial and operational turnaround roots. You will have the experience to be fully effective executing transactions with minimal supervision as well as supporting the team's efforts in origination, and post-acquisition activities.

    Principal accountabilities and responsibilities will include

    • Responsible for structuring, financial modelling, execution, and monitoring of investments within the European infrastructure sector
    • Assisting/leading with the preparation and evaluation of investment proposals, including Investment Committee papers
    • Leading transaction due diligence and execution, including working with legal, tax and other external advisors, ensuring transaction documentation and structuring are consistent with the business case
    • Leading market and sector research and analysis, and provide updates on any insights or developments
    • Collaborating with senior investment professionals in originating, evaluating, and analysing new investment opportunities
    • Working with existing portfolio companies to assist in the execution of their respective business plans from the point of initial investment to ultimate exit
    • Assisting with managing and monitoring existing investments, identifying and implementing new initiatives as part of the team's asset management plan
    • Managing and maintaining relationships within the industry, including investment banks, due diligence providers, LPs, independent valuers, consultants and peer institutional investors

    To be considered for this opportunity you must fit the following criteria

    • 5-8 years of relevant experience, either from a top Private Equity firm or Bulge Bracket/Elite Boutique M&A team
    • Deep knowledge of and working experience in Infrastructure
    • Possess a demonstrated track record of relevant and successful deal execution
    • Strong quantitative/numerical skills - advanced financial and operational modelling skills
    • Entrepreneurial character with high commercial acumen and a 'returns' driven mindset
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Fluency in French helpful, but not required. Additional European languages are a plus
    • Strong academic track record, including a Bachelor's degree covering Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or another quantitative subject
